First: the yarn was donated, dropped here at my shop; then the yarn was bagged for easy pick up; then finished items began to be brought in and filled my shop window -- up to a foot deep in wooly items!!In just 6 weeks of promoting, there were over 150 hats, 42 scarves, 36 pairs of mittens!
This is a small sampling of the generous hearts and hands of people from our communities.
After being divided into 5 groups ( that was how many recipient targets we have at this time ) the bags of 'warm wishes' will be delivered this week! Each to be enjoyed by a child or someone in shelter or homeless.

Not to worry if you still have a hat or mitts to bring in, continue to bring them to the shop or a local charity of your own. Carrie's Q&K will continue to accept yarn and finished items for the homeless or those in shelter all year.
